Tony Ianni

Anthony (Tony) IanniChair of the Board
Tony Ianni, a chartered accountant and chartered insolvency professional, has over 25 years of experience with Ernst & Young acting in a lead advisory capacity in M&A, divestitures, Public Private Partnerships, alliances and financing transactions. Throughout his career, Tony has lead transactions for public, private and government sector clients across a broad range of industries. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization, is the current Co-Chair of the YPO Maple Leaf Chapter in Toronto, is the current Chairman of Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. and is the Past Chairman of the Committee of Adjustment of the City of Vaughan.

Mark Falbo

Mark Falbo, a resident of Woodbridge, is President of the Mircom Group of Companies, a Canada’s Best Managed company operating globally in fire detection and building communication systems. Mark has an extensive background in law, finance and business, having held positions with such organizations as Lang Michener, CIBC World Markets and Orenda Corporate Finance and having intern experience with the Ontario Securities Commission and Arthur Andersen. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Toronto and he is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Mark's volunteering experience includes Downtown Legal Services, Big Brothers of Toronto and an Executive Board position with the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce and committee positions on the University of Toronto St. Michael’s College Collegium as well as a recent Pan Am Games Torch Bearer for Vaughan.

Louis Greenbaum

Louis Greenbaum, Second Vice Chair

Louis Greenbaum is a principal with the Vogue Development Group Inc., engaged in land development, home building and construction of commercial and industrial properties in the Greater Toronto Area. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Master Degree in Environmental Studies (Planning) from York University. Louis brings extensive volunteer experience on a variety of Boards and organizations, including the Jewish Federation of Greater Toronto and the Urban Development Institute of Ontario and Canada.

Marion Kirsh Marion Kirsh, Treasurer
Marion Kirsh, a resident of Thornhill, is the former Associate Chief Accountant of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). Marion has worked for RBC Financial Group as Chief Financial Officer of Royal Trust and Chief Financial Officer of RBC Insurance, and has held staff roles on several RBC Boards.  Previous to her OSC role, Marion was Director, Strategic Finance Projects, on a secondment by RBC to the Canadian Bankers Association. A former director-at-large with the Canadian Cancer Society, she is a former member and past Chair of Canadian Cancer Society’s National Finance, Audit & Risk Management Committee. Marion is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Fellow of CPA Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McGill University.  She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a member of the Women’s Executive Network. Marion is a director of Junior Achievement Canada, and a member of their Risk Management and Audit Committee.


Altaf Stationwala

President and CEO, Mackenzie Health

Altaf Stationwala was appointed President and CEO of Mackenzie Health in 2010. Under his leadership, Mackenzie Health received Accreditation with Exemplary Standing in 2013 – the highest rating a Canadian healthcare provider can achieve – and numerous awards for its commitment to safety and quality patient care, as well as approval to build the organization’s second hospital – Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital. In June 2015, Altaf established the Mackenzie Innovation Institute, which includes the first-in-Canada Innovation Unit initiative, a unique integration of advanced technology that transforms the delivery of care. Prior to joining Mackenzie Health, Altaf held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Mount Sinai Hospital, and previous to that he was Site Executive - Brampton Civic Hospital and Vice President, Patient Services at the William Osler Health Centre.
In 2007, Altaf was presented with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives Canada's Outstanding Young Health Executive of the Year Award for his demonstrated leadership in improving the effectiveness and sustainability of the country's health system. He has a diverse educational background with undergraduate degrees in Economics, Geography and Business Administration, as well as a Masters in Health Administration. Altaf is also adjunct faculty in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and is also a surveyor with Accreditation Canada. Altaf is an ex-officio member of all Board committees and a Director of the Mackenzie Health Foundation Board.
Ray Archer

Ray Archer

Ray Archer was appointed to the Board in June 2013.  Ray has been involved in the Information Systems Security business for over 25 years and is the Past Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer overseeing the information security program at Scotiabank. As the head of Information Security and Control, Ray led a global team of information security professionals safeguarding the organization’s information assets in over 55 countries.  Prior to joining Scotiabank as Forensics Investigator with Corporate Security in 1998, Ray served as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for 23 years, where he was involved in complex technical investigations involving commercial/technological crimes. Ray has a B.A. from the University of Manitoba and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Risk Professional (CRP) designations. He is also Chair of the Mackenzie Innovative Institute (Mi2).

Gary J. D’Andrea

Gary J. D’Andrea

Gary D’Andrea, a resident of Vaughan, was appointed to the Board of Directors in September of 2012.  As a senior business executive, he has over 25 years of experience with a focus on leading and supporting major transformational change in a number of industries and companies, including Bristol-Myers, Cara Operations, Royal Trust, Hudson’s Bay and Grand & Toy.  His experience also includes supporting the development of technology startups and early-stage companies. Gary’s strategic and operational leadership extends across many facets of business, including sales and marketing, supply chain management, human resources, information technology and finance. He holds a Master of Business Administration from York University’s Schulich School of Business, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA CGA) designation.

Dr. Steven Jackson, Chief of Staff

Dr. Steven Jackson was appointed Chief of Staff in 2013. Prior to Mackenzie Health, Dr. Jackson was the Chief of Staff at The Scarborough Hospital. Prior to this role, he was Medical Director for Peri-Operative Services and also served in the role of President of the Medical Staff Association during the amalgamation of two independent community hospitals that became The Scarborough Hospital. He has chaired and co-chaired numerous committees and task forces to improve physician and hospital processes.
A senior medical executive with over 15 years’ experience in medical leadership, administration and governance, Dr. Jackson is a general surgeon by training specializing in surgical oncology. Dr. Jackson holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and has successfully completed several other recognized medical leadership programs from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management and the Canadian Medical Association. In addition to his professional experience, Dr. Jackson has been published in medical journals such as the Journal of Laparoendoscopic Surgery and the Canadian Journal of Surgery.
Len Koroneos Len Koroneos
Len Koroneos, a resident of Richmond Hill, has held various executive positions in the areas of corporate operations, finance, tax, accounting and major project developments of long-term care homes. Most recently, Len completed a contract with the Ontario Long Term Care Association and worked closely with several Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care committees on the health system funding reform. Until July 2012, Len was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Toronto Community Housing Corporation.  Prior to this, Len worked for Extendicare for over 20 years, where he garnered business experience and knowledge in healthcare operations. He has served on various Boards including Regent Park Energy Inc., Regent Park Development Corporation, Housing Solutions Inc., Social Housing Services Corporation and Richview Manor Inc.  Len is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Hons. Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.
Fay Lim-Lambie

Fay Lim-Lambie  

Fay Lim-Lambie is a resident of Richmond Hill. As Georgian College’s Dean, Health, Wellness and Sciences, Fay has extensive in health care leadership and administration as well as diverse experiences in clinical education, quality improvement, professional practice and research. Fay was formerly the Executive Director of Health Disciplines Professional Practice and Clinical Support Services at Baycrest Health Sciences and past Treasurer of the Ontario Association of Social Workers board of directors. Fay is highly committed to interprofessional education and collaboration and has successfully led and implemented interprofessional collaborative practice initiatives focuses on advanced patient experience and enhance health care team collaboration. Fay is a results oriented leader who has had oversight for the implementation of innovative clinical programs, best practice integration, interdisciplinary models of care and enhancement in patient experience.
Fay holds a Master of Social Work from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Social Work from York University and a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and holds an appointment with clinical of the Children’s Lawyer, Ministry of the Attorney General Ontario.
Susan Kwolek

Susan Kwolek, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Executive

Susan Kwolek is the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Executive of Mackenzie Health.  Susan has been with the hospital since 2014 and is responsible for all care services, including Emergency and Medicine; Surgery; Woman and Child; Chronic Kidney Disease; Mental Health; Seniors Health; as well as Enterprise Risk, Quality and Privacy. Prior to joining Mackenzie Health, Susan was the Vice President, Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Niagara Health System and Executive Lead for the St. Catharines site of the Niagara Health System. Susan has also held a variety of senior leadership positions in teaching and community hospitals, single and multi-site organizations, and has provided operational oversight for significant clinical and non-clinical portfolios.
Susan is a surveyor with Accreditation Canada and Accreditation Canada International, has a clinical appointment, lecturer status, in the Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto, and is an associate adjunct professor in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Health Policy Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western University and a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Toronto, and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
 Dr. Ambrose Lee

Dr. Ambrose Lee, Vice President of the Professional Staff Association

Dr. Ambrose Lee was appointed to the Board in June 2017 in his capacity as a member of the Professional Staff Association Executive. He is currently Vice President of the Professional Staff Association.  Dr. Lee has been a member of the Medical Staff at Mackenzie Health since 2010.  His special interest is middle ear surgery.  Dr. Lee is also a lecturer in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto and his research interest is vestibular disorders. His outside interests include fencing, jogging and watching movies. 

Enzo Morini

Enzo Morini, Chair of the Mackenzie Health Foundation Board

Enzo Morini was appointed Chair of the Mackenzie Health Foundation in June 2016. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a tax partner with Williams & Partners, Chartered Accountants LLP. His focus is on tax minimization strategies for owner-managed clients, including compensation planning, corporate structures, re-organizations, and scientific research and experimental development claims. Enzo joined the Mackenzie Health Foundation Board of Directors in 2001 and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Proud Partners Golf Classic Committee, Chair of the Finance & Investment Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. Previously, Enzo served as the Foundation Treasurer. An active member of the community, Enzo also serves as Chair of Mariann Home, Director of the Board of Bel Canto Foundation, and he was Treasurer of the Markham Mobility Foundation from 2001 to 2015.

Sheila Neuburger

Sheila Neuburger

Sheila Neuburger, a resident of Thornhill, is the Past Executive Vice-President, Clinical Services at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) and provides clinical operations leadership for inpatient and outpatient programs and services for the hospital. Ms. Neuburger is a surveyor with Accreditation Canada.  In addition, she is an Adjunct Lecturer, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. Sheila’s extensive experience in the healthcare industry includes both acute care and specialty hospitals. Prior to her role at Ontario Shores, she was Patient Care Director, Medicine at The Scarborough Hospital and was also a Board Member for the Scarborough Community Care Access Centre. She has a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts, both from the University of Toronto, and has additional education in healthcare management.

Dina Palozzi

Dina Palozzi

Dina Palozzi is a resident of Vaughan and President of Paladina Management Consulting Services. Dina has worked in a number of portfolios for the Government of Ontario including Deputy Minister, Revenue and Financial Institution; Deputy Minister, Correctional Services; Assistant Deputy Minister, Education and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. After leaving the Ontario Public Service, Dina was Chief Privacy Officer at BMO Financial Group. Dina holds a Master of Business Administration from York University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. She has obtained her ICD.d designation as a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Dina is also the Past Chair of CAA South Central - Ontario Board and is a Past Board Member of the Providence Healthcare Foundation and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.  Dina also serves as a Director on the Board of the Toronto Centre for Financial Sector Supervision and the Canadian Payments Association. 

 Dr. Gundars Roze

Dr. Gundars Roze, President of the Professional Staff Association

Dr. Gundars Roze was appointed to the Board in June 2016 in his capacity as a member of the Professional Staff Association Executive. He is currently President of the Professional Staff Association.  Dr. Roze graduated from medical school in Toronto in 1994 and went on to do his residency in anesthesia in Toronto as well.  He received his F.R.C.P.(C) in 1999.  Initially, he practiced in multiple locations throughout Ontario (including Thunder Bay, Timmins, Sue Sault Marie as well as several hospitals in Toronto).  He settled on York Central (at the time) as his permanent home in 2001.  He has been full time member of the anesthesia staff since then.  His interests include regional anesthesia and anesthesia in developing countries.  He has worked for brief stints in Bolivia and Ecuador.  In his spare time, Dr. Roze takes extra shifts so that he can travel with his wife (also a physician at Mackenzie Health) and his two year old son.

Stephanie Zee

Stephanie Zee

Stephanie Zee, a resident of Richmond Hill, is the Director and Head of Cash and Treasury Products at Citibank Canada. Stephanie is responsible for their full suite of core cash management products, including liquidity and investments, account services, connectivity and information services, payment and receivable solutions, and wholesale cards (commercial cards and prepaid cards).
Before assuming that role, Ms. Zee was Vice President, Sales & Business Development at Intact Financial Corporation (formerly ING Insurance) where she led the sales and business development efforts for the Ontario region and the national rebranding, marketing and media efforts of the firm. While building her career, she rounded out her experience and knowledge at ING Direct, Scotiabank, HSBC, Ontario Blue Cross and RBC.
Stephanie has given her time as a board/committee member to a number of organizations, including Citi Transaction Services, Citi Cards Canada Inc., Canadian Bankers Association, Canadian Marketing Association, Mondex, Verified by Visa, Risk Management Institute, and Youth in Motion. Ms. Zee holds a Masters in Law from Osgoode Hall at York University, an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Calgary.
