You must now register your child’s birth online with the Province of Ontario. Your online registration will also allow you to apply for a birth certificate and a social insurance number for your child at the same time. You can register your child’s birth online through the ServiceOntario Website at www.serviceontario.ca/newborn. For any enquiries you may call 1-800-267-8097.
