How to Become an Adult Volunteer:
Applications can be obtained in person from Room 5929 B Wing Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm or Saturday and Sunday 10am – 3pm. You can also request an application by calling 905-883-2057 or by using the links below to print your own application from home.
The process to be considered for a Volunteer placement is:
Complete the Application Form, provide 2 References from people other than family members or friends and a 250 Word Description as to why you’d like to volunteer. You may wish to include a current resume.
Once you have completed your application, please mail to our offices or email a scanned copy to email@example.com. After your application has been reviewed, you may be contacted to arrange an interview. At the interview we will determine if there is a position available that benefits both you and the hospital.
Successful candidates must provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening through York Regional Police at a cost of $20. You must also attend a 2-hour orientation, agree to a health screening exam and leave a $30 refundable deposit for a uniform, photo ID badge and parking pass.
We look forward to having you join our team of over 900 volunteers!
