Strides for Mackenzie Health is back: Meet one of our Striders!
For Samantha (pictured above), participating in Strides for Mackenzie Health is not just about crossing a finish line, it is about honouring the health care teams at Mackenzie Health, who gave her a second chance at life after she became septic from E. coli poisoning.
“It made me realize how vital Mackenzie Health is to our community,” Samantha shared. “I’m so grateful they were there for me when I needed them most — and that I didn’t have to travel far to get life-saving care.”
It was only six months later that Samantha was lacing up her sneakers and participating in Strides for Mackenzie Health, inspired to give back and support health care in our community.
When asked about this year's event, Samantha shares her excitement to "celebrate health, life and growth with an inspiring group of people." Join her and register today for the 20th annual Strides for Mackenzie Health! More information below.
