The launch of our new electronic medical record (EMR) on July 8, 2017, supports this vision and puts us at the forefront of care delivery.
The new EMR will make it possible to exchange information at the point of care, empowering patients with easy access to their health records and providing physicians with exactly what they need to make important health care decisions more quickly.
Here are some of the benefits of the new electronic medical record:

- Access to MyChart, an application that allows you to manage your health information and appointments all in one place. The following features and health information can be accessed in MyChart:
- Check in online 7 days prior to your next appointment using our eCheck-In* service
- View past and upcoming appointments
- View preparation instructions for upcoming appointments
- Complete pre-visit questionnaires*
- Cancel appointments*
- Update your demographics at any time (includes address, phone number, family physician, and more)
- View lab and test results
- View and share Diagnostic images including X-rays, ultrasounds, CTs, MRI and more
- Clinical notes on your care and treatment
- Track your health*
- Access your list of conditions or medical concerns diagnosed at Mackenzie Health as well as your prescribed medications and known allergies
*Available for select clinics
- Register and check-in faster and more efficiently using the electronic kiosks
- The entire care team has access to the same information - less time repeating questions or duplicating tests
The launch of our new EMR is one of the largest clinical transformation projects in our organization's history and will dramatically transform the way we deliver care for this community.
