Mackenzie Health Entry to School (ETS) Program
Mackenzie Health’s Centre for Behaviour Health Sciences is pleased to deliver the Entry to School (ETS) Program through the York Simcoe Autism Network (YSAN).
ETS supports children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) between the ages of three and six years old who are entering kindergarten or grade one for the first time.
The program features:
- group sessions focused on building skills that prepare children to start school, delivered over the course of six months;
- transition supports for children when they begin school; and
- individualized consultations to support a successful transition for the first six months a child is in school.
Entry to School (ETS) is available at no cost to families registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) and who have received an invitation from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to participate.
If you have received your invitation to register for ETS, and your child will be attending a school in York Region or Simcoe County, visit YSAN’s website to complete the online registration form.
YSAN is hosting live, free information sessions for families whose child will be attending a school in York Region or Simcoe County and want to learn more about the ETS program.
Bring your questions about the ETS program and have them answered by the York Simcoe Autism Network team. Register for a session on YSAN’s website.
