Mackenzie Health provides many types of surgery and sub-specialties to meet the surgical needs of patients.

Our team works closely with our more than 40 surgeons, many who have sub-specialties including:

  • Fracture clinic
  • General surgeries - including minimally invasive cancer surgery, breast cancer surgery and digestive system cancer surgeries, as well as non-cancer surgery for hernias or gallbladder and other gastrointestinal (GI) tract problems.
  • Gynecology surgeries - for female health problems
  • Otolaryngology surgeries
  • Orthopedics surgeries - including spinal, hip and knee surgery, foot and ankle surgery as well as shoulder repair. Broken bones can also be casted or surgically repaired as needed.
  • Oral and Maxillofacial surgeries - including patients who need dental care under anaesthesia
  • Pediatric dental surgeries
  • Plastic surgeries
  • Urology surgeries - including cancer and non-cancer surgeries for many problems related to the urinary tract. We can repair hernias and provide minimally invasive prostate and kidney cancer surgery, urinary incontinence treatment as well as other urologic conditions for both adults and pediatric patients
  • Vascular surgeries - as the regional dialysis centre, we provide care to patients who need assistance in improving their circulation or need a dialysis access port.
