Your journey starts here. Along with established programs like the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Kudos Awards and services provided by Spiritual Care, we have unique opportunities, activities, workshops and events to help you along your path.

This workshop is designed to help you see things clearly and live moment to moment. Being able to focus on the present allows you to respond considerately to problems, handle stressful situations more effectively, and improve your overall physical, emotional and social health.

If you are looking for a way to become a healthier and happier you, give meditation a try. It can help you decrease stress, lower blood pressure, and positively impact your sleep, chronic pain and tension headaches.

With classes that are suitable for all levels - ranging from beginners to intermediate, yoga is a great way to get exercise, as it helps with fitness and flexibility, but it's also allows you to de-stress and focus on yourself.

Pilates focuses on relaxing tense muscles and on strengthening muscles in your body, especially your core. If you are looking for a great workout without added stress on your joints, Pilates may be the right class for you. All levels of experience are welcome to join.

Here’s a chance to de-stress, calm down, and smile more! This therapy dog drop-in program provides an opportunity for employees to: talk with the volunteer and the dog, feel/touch/pet/cuddle the dog and of course receive unconditional love from the dog!

Come explore your creative side through visual & creative arts. This includes drawing, painting, sculpture, clay modelling, and a variety of other creative outlets. It uses both artistic and therapeutic techniques with a way for employees to express themselves through their work.

Did you know that we have an Orangetheory Fitness Corporate Membership? It's a gym that offers workout sessions that are split into intervals, focusing on cardio and strength training. It's a great way to increase your energy levels, reach your fitness goals and become active.

Getting fit just got easier. GoodLife Fitness Corporate memberships are available to all Mackenzie Health staff, physicians and volunteers. You can become a new member or transfer your membership over to our corporate rate. Signups or membership transfers occur four times during the year: Jan. 1, April 1, July 1st and Oct. 1. Emails will be sent by the Human Resources Department approximately one month in advance of each enrolment period to provide further information.
