Learn about our door-to-door fundraising and telemarketing programs that help improve the patient experience at Mackenzie Health. 

A family outside, doing door-to-door fundraising.Our telemarketing and door-to-door fundraising programs are vital components of Mackenzie Health Foundation's efforts to enhance patient care at Mackenzie Richmond Hill and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospitals. Through this program, we're asking you and your neighbours to join us in our mission to enhance care in our community. With your support, we can purchase lifesaving equipment and advanced technology — items that are 100 per cent community funded — to help bring world-class care to Vaughan, Richmond Hill and King.

We run our telemarketing campaigns a couple times a year, so you may receive a phone call on behalf of Mackenzie Health Foundation. We hope you'll answer the call to support the ultimate in health care at Mackenzie Health.

Mackenzie Health Foundation is not currently raising funds at the door in our communities.

OUR PARTNERS

Mackenzie Health Foundation partners with a professional fundraising agency. Their canvassers receive comprehensive training about the mission and work of Mackenzie Health so they can speak to you on our behalf. These canvassers are not on commission. They receive a daily rate from an allocated fundraising budget when canvassing on behalf of Mackenzie Health Foundation.

Fundraisers for Mackenzie Health Foundation will have identification badges and branded attire.

Door-to-door fundraising is one of the most effective and personal ways we can reach out to donors.

Mackenzie Health Foundation canvassers are compensated with an hourly wage and do not receive commissions. Fundraisers are paid through a professional fundraising agency. We both adhere to Imagine Canada's Standards Program for charitable and non-profit organizations. To learn more about Imagine Canada and its standards, please visit imaginecanada.ca.

For safety reasons, we do not allow our canvassers to accept or carry cash donations. If you are interested in making a donation, please do so using our online donation form or contact the Foundation at 905-883-2032.

  • You’ll receive an email notification within minutes of agreeing to your donation.
  • Within a few days, you will receive a telephone call from Mackenzie Health Foundation to confirm your intention to make a monthly donation.

You may cancel your monthly donation at any time. You may also change the amount of your donation or the day of the month your donation is processed, by calling Mackenzie Health Foundation at 905-883-2032.
