About Us

Mackenzie Health is a dynamic regional healthcare provider serving a population of more than a half million people across York Region and beyond.

If you’re eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in York Region and are looking to book an appointment, please call: 1-844-301-8080.

Mackenzie Health includes Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, as well as a comprehensive network of community-based services in Richmond Hill, Vaughan and the surrounding communities.

To help fight the surge in COVID-19, Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital has opened differently than originally planned. The exclusive focus is on providing additional ICU and medicine beds to bring relief to our community, as well as the province’s overstretched health system.

The Emergency Department at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital is currently closed until the COVID-19 surge has been adequately addressed. Though temporary, the programs that were scheduled to move to Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, including Woman and Child, Inpatient Mental Health and Inpatient Stroke, will remain at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital for now.

Our Emergency Department at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital remains open to support our community as it always has. To learn more, visit: Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.

Mackenzie Health's vision is to create a world-class health experience. This means delivering quality, compassionate and timely patient-centered care. It means that everything we do is focused on our patients and community.

Mackenzie Health Foundation is spearheading the Ultimate campaign – the largest fundraising drive ever led by a community hospital in Canada – which is committed to raising $250 million in community contributions toward the total $1.7-billion project cost of the new Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and advancing care at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
