Mackenzie Health Volunteer Association is a self-governed organization that provides support for volunteers An image showing the interior of the White Rose gift shop.and fundraisers for the hospital. Our members play a vital role in the Mackenzie Health community, contributing more than 90,000 hours of service a year in support of the hospital’s staff, patients, and their families.

The Mackenzie Health Volunteer Association was established in 1962 by a group of women who shared the dream of having a community hospital, Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.  Their dream continues today as Mackenzie Health is evolving to a two-hospital model.

The Mackenzie Health Volunteer Association operates the White Rose Gift Shop. The gift shop helps raise a significant source of donation revenue that has contributed to the acquisition of a new MRI machine and improvements in the Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care and Mental Health units. We have now opened an online gift shop to better serve our community.

The in-store gift shop sells books, toiletries, toys, giftware, cards, gift bags, hand-knitted baby outfits, clothing, jewelry, hand bags, snacks and much more.

Cash, Visa, MasterCard and debit cards are accepted.
