VAUGHAN, ON – The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) – Greater Toronto Chapter has named Ingrid Perry, President and CEO of Mackenzie Health Foundation, the AFP Greater Toronto Chapter’s 2017 Outstanding Fundraising Professional.
Among the distinguished list of honourees in eight categories of outstanding achievement, Ms. Perry is recognized for her extraordinary talent as a fundraiser and more than 30 years of leadership in the non-profit health care sector.
“It is indeed an honour to be selected as the recipient of this award. I have had the privilege of serving with tremendous teams of volunteers and staff dedicated to advancing Canada through philanthropy and volunteerism. To these people and the generous donors I share this award and offer my sincere thanks.”
The AFP Greater Toronto Chapter established the Philanthropy Awards more than 20 years ago to celebrate individual, foundation and corporate philanthropists, fundraising volunteers and fundraising professionals in communities throughout the GTA who demonstrate the best of philanthropic engagement.

The 2017 recipients were honoured at the Philanthropy Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, as part of Congress 2017, the Greater Toronto Chapter’s annual conference.
