We’re pleased to report that construction of Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital is right on schedule. Level 4 is currently being poured for the Woman and Child program, which is dedicated to the care of new mothers and their babies as well as children.

Under brilliant blue skies nearly 1,300 participants, young and old, hit the streets of Richmond Hill and Vaughan on Saturday, May 5 to raise more than $275,000 for UniversalCare Strides for Stroke.

Mackenzie Health launched a new, free mobile wayfinding application (app) to help patients and visitors navigate their way around Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital or navigate to any of Mackenzie Health’s community locations.

Mackenzie Health clinicians showcased how key patient rooms are being designed for the new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital. More than 450 people, including residents of Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and King, as well as hospital staff, physicians and volunteers were able to experience “built to scale” patient rooms that have been designed with input from patients, families and clinicians.

Ontario is investing an additional $21.1 million in Mackenzie Health. This is part of the province’s commitment to invest an additional $822 million investment in Ontario hospitals in 2018/19- an increase of 4.6 per cent.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2018 Mackenzie Health hosted its first community telephone townhall  for residents in Richmond Hill, Vaughan and  other communities surrounding the Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital and Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital. Close to 11,000 residents engaged in the conversation.
