Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue - Virtual Course July 26 - 28, 2022 (9 hours over 3 days)

Course Duration: 9 hours over 3 days with 1 hour of additional course work. You must attend the full 9 hours for course completion.

Course Schedule: Tuesday, July 26 - Thursday, July 28 (9 am - 12 pm each day)

Description:  Grounded in decades of social science research, Crucial Conversations® for Mastering Dialogue gives people the skills to step into disagreement—rather than over or around it—and turn disagreement into dialogue for improved relationships and results. 

Course Audience: All staff

Learning Objectives:

  • Spot the conversations that are keeping you from what you want 
  • Learn where emotions come from and how to change them
  • Eliminate negative stories that impede conversations and results
  • Stay focused on what you really want and lay a foundation for good intent
  • Notice the signs that people are not in dialogue
  • Actively listen to understand the meaning behind others' emotions and actions
  • Share tough messages in a way that invites others into the conversations
  • Take steps to rebuild safety when others get defensive
  • Find common ground even when it seems impossible
  • Move from healthy dialogue to taking action and achieving results
