About the Authors:
Dr. Dryden is the James R. Johnston Chair in Black Canadian Studies in the Faculty of Medicine and an associate professor in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University
Dr. Onye Nnorom is a Lecturer at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is also Associate Program Director of the Residency Program in Public Health and Preventive Medicine
