In this talk we explore the components of resilience building and focus on the idea of balance which has been evolving in recent years. Explore how to best juggle competing demands on your time, how to set priorities and boundaries and what might be causing self-sabotage. More balance reduces burnout and increases the possibility of being able to thrive again.
Speaker:
Dr. Daniela Isfan is a family physician, a member of the CFPC’s Scientific Planning Committee for Physician Wellness and Resilience, a graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and a Certified Physician Development Coach by the Physician Coaching Institute. As an expert on burnout, resilience, positive psychology and emotional intelligence, she leads Haven Compassion Rounds workshops, speaks locally and nationally, leads wellness retreats and provides guidance, education and support to physicians and learners. She is committed to compassionately helping clinicians restore and preserve life balance, wellbeing, career fulfillment, and meaning in work.
