Wellness Water Drinking Challenge
Wellness Water Drinking Challenge:
Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.
During the Water Drinking Challenge, the goal is to consume eight glasses of water per day. Although other beverages such as
soda, coffee, and juice contribute toward your daily liquid intake, the challenge is geared solely toward increased consumption of
water in place of sugary and caffeine-containing beverages. Put a check mark on each day you achieve the goal!
This 3-week challenge will hold you accountable in staying hydrated starting on August 8 until August 26. Please email wellness@mackenziehealth.ca to sign up and receive your tracking sheet.
