Management Orientation
Management Orientation is offered monthly, in-person at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.
Description: Management Orientation provides key information and skills specific to a management role at Mackenzie Health. Leaders will be provided with tools and resources to be successful and continuously improve.
Learning Objectives:
- To provide an overview of Management Onboarding at Mackenzie Health, key resources, supports, organizational structures and committees
- To provide an overview of key human resources policies, programs/tools and the various unions at Mackenzie Health
- To provide an overview of scheduling and attendance protocols and supports through the Central Staffing and Scheduling Office
- To provide an overview of services offered through the Finance Department including financial planning and budgeting
- To provide an overview of services offered through the ICAT Department including accessing corporate systems
Audience:
- New and existing leaders in clinical and non-clinical roles (with direct reports) including directors and managers
