Alternate Level of Care (ALC)
Alternate Level of Care (ALC/Complex) patients are waiting for discharge from hospital to other appropriate facility.
These patients have met acute care goals and their progress has reached a point where they no longer need hospitalization.
This will be determined by a physician/delegate, in collaboration with an interprofessional team.
